The Brunner Pilote Caddy 5 is a smartly engineered, frameless tailgate tent designed specifically for the new VW Caddy 5, transforming your vehicle into a versatile camping companion.
Easy to mount directly onto the tailgate using sturdy straps, this tent seamlessly extends the interior of your Caddy to create a comfortable dining area, sheltered lounge, or practical storage space, perfect for weekend trips and longer adventures alike.
Thanks to magnetic strips along the side walls, the tent fits snugly against the vehicle and remains reliably rainproof. The lower section is tightly tensioned to the Caddy, while external mud flaps with eyelets allow rainwater to drain efficiently, even in heavy downpours. Despite its frameless design, the Pilote Caddy 5 offers excellent wind stability, supported by multiple guy ropes and guy lines.
Ventilation and light are key strengths. The front wall features a large mesh window that can be fully rolled up or closed with tinted film and internal blackout for privacy. It can also be extended outward as a sun canopy using optional poles. A large mesh window on the right side enhances airflow, while the left side offers a tinted window with internal darkening.
