Modern urban commuting is undergoing a radical transformation, and at the forefront of this shift is the MiRiDER series of electric folding bikes. Designed with a perfect blend of portability and performance, these compact powerhouses prove that you don’t need a full-sized frame to enjoy a premium riding experience. Whether you are navigating the "last mile" of your city commute, seeking a lightweight companion for your motorhome adventures, or simply looking for a stylish way to get active, the MiRiDER range offers an innovative solution that refuses to compromise on power or comfort.

Key Features

  • Lightweight Magnesium Frame: The aircraft-grade alloy is lighter and more durable than traditional aluminium frames.
  • Rapid Folding Mechanism: The bike collapses in under 10 seconds, making it ideal for trains, buses, or small car boots.
  • Rear Suspension: A built-in shock absorber provides a much smoother ride over urban potholes and uneven paths.
  • Fast Charging: The battery reaches a full charge in just 2–3 hours, significantly quicker than many competitors.
  • High Torque Motor: The 250W rear-hub motor provides impressive assistance for tackling steep hills with ease.
  • Integrated Battery: The power source is hidden inside the frame, protecting it from the elements and theft while maintaining a sleek look.
  • Low Maintenance: Features like the single-speed drivetrain (on the One) or the internal gearbox (on the GB3) reduce the need for frequent servicing.
  • LCD Display: Includes many functions in addition to a speedometer and trip information such as pedal assist control, light control and walk assist mode.
  • Made in Britain: Hand assembled in Wigan, with every component inspected by skilled technicians.

Comparing Models

MiRiDER bikes are split into two categories - versions with three gears (the 'GB3' series) and those without. Each category has three models, the MiRiDER 16, 20 and 24. As well as differing in size, the features of each are slightly different.

Difference Between the GB3 and Standard Versions

  • The GB3 series has three gears
  • The GB3 series has a colour LCD display, while the standard series has a monochrome display
  • The GB3 series are slightly heavier than the standard series (by a kg or two, depending on the model)

Difference Between the Models

  • The smaller the wheel size, the better it suits a shorter rider. The 16 is suitable for riders 5'0" and above, the 20 for riders 5'2" and above while the 24 is suitable for riders 5'6" and above.
  • The 16 models have Clarks CMD-24 mechanical disk brakes, compared to the HD-M3000 hydraulic brakes on the 20 and 24.
  • The 24 models have a longer range (100km / 65 miles) compared to the 16 and 20 (72km / 40 miles)
  • The 16 and 20 models are fully foldable, whereas the 24 model has collapsible seat, handlebars and pedals, but does not fold in half.
